Welcome back to yet another update on Bhendi Bazaar. It’s been a while since we last spoke, and a lot seems to have happened since then.

Last week, a video on YouTube started making the rounds in the community, talking about the construction at Bhendi Bazaar. The video implied that this new stage of construction was illegal, and was causing several obstacles on the streets for vehicles and pedestrians. Supposedly residents of Bhendi Bazaar who were interviewed on the video expressed their disappointment and concern over these developments.

On the other hand, we did our bit of research to get to the bottom of this, and found these recent media articles The Times of India, & The Free Press Journal, which states that the Bohri Trust has all the required permissions to start construction for the new cluster.
