Ramadan guzre ek mahina beet gaya. Un Ibaadat se bhare 30 dino ki baat hi kuch aur hoti hai. The lights on the streets and festivities during Ramadan share a different vibe altogether – chahal pahal hoti hai, humare Bhendi Bazaar mein. Chahal pahal ke alava bhi aap sab jaante hi honge ki Ramadan is a time for self-reflection, compassion, and commitment to oneself and others.
Ab since Ramadan ka maheena beet gaya, don’t you feel that this year’s Ramadan festival was bigger and better than the past few years in every aspect – Chahe woh personal self-improvement ho ya tyohaar ka experience ho, what say bazaaris?
This year felt a little extra special as Bhendi Bazaar garnered love from all over Mumbai. Locals, from all over the city, visited to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan. Jaise baccho ke liye, festivals are meant for new clothes and delicious food, waise hi during Ramadan bade bhi bacche ban jate hain, as iftar becomes a feast to enjoy and relish mouth watering dishes. Starting from tawakkal’s sweets to the tikka of haji tikka to the Nalli nihari of Bara haandi and ending with the handchurned ice cream of Taj ice cream, this is the iftar meal of Ramadan.
Bohri Mohalla toh jaise social media par cha hi gaya. Our streets were packed with not just enthusiastic locals that visited to experience this but it also attracted tourists from foreign countries as well. Bhendi Bazaar ki iss bheed mein, poori Mumbai toh shaamil hui hi, unke saath shaamil hue the aapke favourite Bollywood celebrities aur popular personalities.
Mashoor director and choreographer Farah Khan jo apne bhai Sajid Khan, popular Film Director ke saath nalli nihari & malpua ke mazein uthaiye. Not just that, TV news anchor Rajdeep Sardesai bhi apne parivaar ke saath aayein the. Film actor Dia Mirza, Daisy Shah aur Indian rapper MC Stan were also spotted in our mohalla. Actress Gauhar Khan along with her husband and family also graced the streets of our Mohalla to enjoy a wholesome experience.
Ramadan itna special mahina hai, ki sab humaare Bhendi Bazaar ke taraf attract ho jaate hai. Umeed hai aapne bhi iss Ramadan ache se Ibaadat ki aur apne family ke saath khushiyan baati. Ab intezaar hai agle Ramadan ke chaand ka aur doobara chahal pahal hone ka.
